Sabbath came again.
People were at OCC again.
It was nice to have a peaceful quiet church meeting.
Singing and praising God.
Listening to Pastor Bob preach a very understandable and thought provoking sermon.
Never Alone.

Here is a bit of how the Sabbath School and church time went.

Dave planned a very nice SS and after the Mission Spotlight read a piece about the heart and what amazing things it all does. 

Dave W had the SS time and asked Richard to play for a special music piece.  It was beautifully done. 

Ready for Beverly to tell the children's story. 

Watching for the little gecko. 

The children each got to take home a little plastic gecko.  

Alex reads the scripture and then has the prayer. 

The butterfly flew to the music. 

Glad he is at our church and sharing this skill of playing guitar. 

The shaker, the drum, the bell sounds, and more are played by him.  He keeps the beat and keeps things moving along. 

Elder of the month, Roland, gets us to smile with him as he shares who the speaker will be.

Story about Hawaiian geckos. 

So good to have our Pastor Bob up front to speak again.  His talk about Never Alone was very full of good things for us to take home and think about.  Thank you, Pastor for sharing your heart today.

Leading us in the closing hymn... Music is such an important part of our worship.  Thank you ladies for your sharing. 

Orchard City Cooking Class

Bonnie headed up a cooking class and it was well attended.
Pastor Josue was there and took some photos for us to see so if you were not able to be present you and I can join in this way.

Beverley was busy helping. 

A nice room full of people interested in the demo. 

Bonnie?  What are you showing how to make? Oh, a smoothie.

Thank you to Bonnie and her crew for having this class.  Looks like even though it was Mother's Day people enjoyed coming to the Cooking Class.
