OCC Sabbath November 28th

OCchurch started with Saabath School lesson time.

It was good to see people coming through the doors and joining in the discussion  on lesson 8 for this last quarter of the year. Mission to the Needy...

We all have needs that need to be met.

Spiritually, Mentally, Physically and Emotionally.

How can we help others who need a listening ear or a good meal or any number of things.

This week the challenge is to find a need and fill it for someone.

Soon it was time for the Praise service.

It was nice to see Kim, Daniel and Bob part of the group this Sabbath.

Children' s story by Glenda was about a Jar of Jawbreakers and being honest.

Then the children took up their offering before it was time for the main offering.

Special Music by Bob R on his saxophone.

Then Doug L had the Scripture and opening Prayer.

Our speaker for the morning was Joel Gregg who shared about looking more to Jesus then at ourselves.

Children's Church had leaders Cherri and Shannon with the younger bunch.

Reading from the Bible, making angels and listening to a story were some things they enjoyed.

Outdoors the pond seems like it is trying to freeze but the ducks still found some water.

Soon the service was over and it was time to say so long for a other week.

OCC Baptism Day October 2023

The last Sabbath of October two precious souls gave their lives to Jesus and were baptized by Pastor Josue.

Pastor Josue had been giving Bible Studies in their home for awhile when they decided it was time to tell how much their love of Jesus was.

On October 28th they stepped into the water and were baptized.

We rejoiced with them as they made this commitment to their loving Lord.

Music makers for Praise Time and Beverly as the platform chairperson of the day.

Three wonderful testimonies were shared by Dexter, Todd and Sharika.

It is really a good thing to hear others share what Jesus has done in their lives.

Thank you for being willing to share.

Raising hands in agreement of the spoken words of Pastor Josue.

It was a very good Sabbath and we are thrilled with the people giving their lives to God.

Welcome to Orchard City SDA Church, friends.

Joel does his part on the Octapad and enjoys playing in the group.  Thank you, Joel.

Bob R comes and plays the saxophone to round out the music on some Sabbaths.  We appreciate his music.
And Tammy added to the welcoming of the newly baptized members.\
