One Sabbath School Item from Today

I received this in my messaging today.

Lauren went to Zoom SS with her sister and many other friends - the SS lead by Shannon and Cherri.

Seeing little drawings like this makes my day better.

Thank you for your care for the children, Cherri and Shannon.

Thank You for the Quilts

Three people were very grateful for the quilts sent to them in Vancouver lately.

I will try to put on their own words of thanks.

Parking Lot Church - SonValley

Last Sabbath, for Easter weekend, churches were able to do some different things for having a service.

SonValley offered Parking Lot church at the school, so I popped over there.

We stayed in our vehicles.

I think it was Tyler who helped  with the best parking places left to go too.

Max came over and held up a sign with the radio station numbers we needed to turn too so we could listen from inside our vehicles.

Julia came a little later to share a little tiny communion cup with juice in the bottom and a tiny piece of 'bread' in the lid.

Music was played by the band and Pastor Abraham spoke the Word.

The children wore masks and had a time of making string art in the shape of a cross and got a little goodie bag  out in the back school yard outdoor classroom.

It was so so nice to have several children and parents come by the truck window and say Hi.

All in all for the 30 or 40 minutes I was there it was a very precious time.

Thank you to the group at SonValley.  I know it must have taken a lot of work to pull it all together.

Thank You!!

Just wanted to let you know that Mikey O sent the funds to Margarita and Delroy this week and Margarita communicated with Mikey after how very thrilled and surprised they were at the sharing of  money and love from you.

She cried!!!

It will certainly help them to be able to pay some bills perhaps like electricity and water and rent to be able to stay in their home.

Covid has made things difficult for some families and sharing is something we can do from afar.

Flowers are being shared with us lately and I so enjoy this gift from God.

Brother and Sister

Ann lives and works in Kelowna... or she used too.

Ann has two children who are teenagers.

Avon and Avonia.

Avon unfortunately has sickle cell anemia and has to be treated in Vancouver Children's Hospital.

While there, some ladies decided to ask about what colours they like and started to work on quilts for both of the young people.

Buying the different materials that will go together to be a nice mix for the quilts.

Now they got busy on nice warm quilts for each teen.

Thank you for caring about Avon and praying for his feeling well.
Thank you for keeping his mum and sister in your prayers too.
