 After Prayer Time and Lesson Class a kids Mission Spotlight was shown.

Dave W had the special music...an original song about two Bible characters.

Logan read the scripture and had prayer. 

Don Straub had the sermon.

A very nice Sabbath morning.

Sabbath August 9th

 Sabbath was an interesting day.

A visit to nearby Kelowna Church was very nice.

Three adult Lesson classes were held one which was Philipiano. 

So nice to see a large group in the fellowship hall lead by June Dubyna.

Once in the sanctuary for the church service there were many children and other adults there.

This day they had young people/children taking part for the church services.

The Praise Team.

The girl had the prayer.

He had the children's story.

He did such a great job reading the scripture text.

So nice to hear Doug L speak for the sermon.

Last Sabbath in Columbus

 Last Sabbath Alison and her two daughters  and I were in Ohio with Bryna and Joshua. 

They went to service others at Columbus Relief.

We had to be instructed in a lot of rules so things would run smoothly and be safe.

They love children helping and that day there were 4. 

We signed in and then sat for a short worship.

It was about a light not hidden but shini g brightly. 

Then before they opened the doors for the brunch the girls enjoyed helping mum and auntie put together snack bags.

The people came in out of the hot sun and enjoyed sitting at tables to get their brunch served to them.

Two tents were put up outside to provide shade to the overflow.

A main director...she had so much energy 

One of the directors...a very organized person.
