Orchard City was blessed to have Dave and Bev W. join us this Sabbath.
Dave played his trombone and Bev sang - "How Great Thou Art." Bev invited all of us to join in with her on the chorus.
Thank you for coming to our church this day and sharing your musical talents with us!
Dave shared with us from 1 Corinthians 13 for the service

Thank you, David, for the message.

Memorial for - Kathleen Bayliss

Kathleen Bayliss ~ Memorial
Orchard City SDA Church
February 16th, 2013

Lovely photo provided by Loretta Smith.
The sweet roses reminded us of Kathleen's many flowers in her gardens.

Joanne W. attended the guest book.

Kathleen Bayliss was a church member of Orchard City Church for many many years.
She moved to Nova Scotia a few years ago to live closer to her daughter, Eileen.

Kathleen was a very interesting person. Her two daughters each wrote a life sketch from the memories they have of their precious mother. These two daughters have such a different prospective it was interesting to hear each of their stories about their mum. One thing was noted several times - Kathleen loved to swim and especially in the ocean no matter if it was cold. She was also a very well-travelled lady. The list of places she has travelled to was long and interesting.

Loretta S., a close friend and member of OC Church, planned a memorial service for February 16th at Orchard City SDA Church in honour of Kathleen.
Pastor Jim Weir talked at the service and also sang and played his guitar.
A tape recording of Hetty (one of the daughters) singing at Hope Camp meeting was played near the end of the service just before the prayer.

Walter and Terry
Sylvia and Loretta made this lovely bulletin. Kathleen loved flowers and used to grow so many
around her large yard when she lived with her husband Hubert on Lewis Road.

Lori S led our Sabbath School and talked about ways love shows itself in our behaviour.
She handed out hearts to many SS members to read at the right time.
Thank you, Lori.
God sent us a Book of Love.
