Guest Speaker Today... Sept 5th, 2015

It was a lovely day this past Sabbath. Yes, a bit on the rainy side, but we need the rain, too.

David E. had our Sabbath School class upstairs for the adults, and the Kid's Corner was a busy place, too, as was the Kid's Corner II for the older children.

It was really nice to have Liza greeting us with a warm smile and a handshake or a hug.

Glenda Q. lead the lesson study discussion and there was a lively mix of thoughts and ideas shared by almost all. The time went so quickly.

Praise time, when all the church comes together, is always enjoyed.
Thanks to our Praise Team members for the part they play in our church service each week.

Children's story and Special Music are always a highlight of the service time.

Pastor Wesley Torres came to visit Orchard City SDA church and we were pleased to have his wife and youngest son here, too.
Pastor Wesley has a positive attitude and encourage words to share with us. His sermon on Maranatha was good to hear.

After the service, we enjoyed lunch together.

Flowers like these always bring a smile as we admire their beauty and uniqueness.
The children have special church bags they can use during the service that have
felts, crayons, quiet toys, etc. in them. They sure do enjoy having them.
Pastor Wesley Torres invites all the children who will be going back to school this week to come to the front for a special prayer.
Richard plays his harmonica - "Because He Lives"
Maranatha - the sermon topic Pastor Wesley shares with us.
Lunch was simple and good. Haystacks and fruit. Oh, and someone brought those little interesting rolled cookies, too.
Italian prunes and red apples.
A whole plate of green garden grapes.
