Sabbath at OCC - August 13th, 2022

After lesson class led by Alex, the praise group had the singing time.

That was followed by an illustration with a Biblical application by Dave.

Next, Jerrie Lou told the Children's Story, about a canoe camping trip and a clever solution to bears.

After children's offering & regular offering, Jonathan & Alison and their daughters sang for "Oh How I Love Jesus" for special music.

Tammy and Leah had a nice class for the children during the church service, complete with a felt board lesson story that the children really enjoyed.

Doyle did the scripture and prayer before the pastor spoke. Then Pastor Josue had the sermon about the power of Christ in our lives.

After church, we had a lovely picnic-style potluck meal downstairs in the fellowship room. So nice to visit with each other!

Liza made the beautiful centerpiece bouquets with flowers from her garden! They were sent home with various families after potluck to bring beauty to their homes in the coming week.

After potluck it was nice to look over at the pond area and spot some nature surprises there before leaving the church.

IIW Sabbath... March 17th

Everything was so nice this Sabbath.

Praise Time, SS, Praise Time, Church service with all of its different pieces and parts...

If you were able to attend I am sure you enjoyed the speaking as well as the special musics too.

Ruby shared a good mission story in Adult SS...

The children enjoyed rain showers on the umbrella.

We enjoyed the signing presentation for the Sabbath School. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.

Good to have Pastor Bob back and Myrna...These faithful three add to our Praise Time.
And Bonnie playing the organ is so wonderful too.

She was busy this Sabbath... telling the children's story.  Thank you for all you do and add to our church!!

Such a ready and willing helper for so many different things... this time she is leading the Children's song in Praise Time.

Someone is really enjoying the signing with this special music. So nice to see her involved.

At OCC

Karen led the Praise Time that started the service.
Then Liza share with us about the benefits of smiling.

There were many smiles going on just talking about it.

The older Kid's Corner used this photo that Cherri took as inspiration and also looked up Proverbs 55:12.

They were drawing pictures of trees clapping their hands... like the Bible verse says.

The new arrangement Carol sent to church for everyone to enjoy.

Beverly had the service and then greeted people afterwards.
She talked about trees planted by the riverside growing roots deep and strong.
