Another Weekend

This weekend our little church was almost full.  So nice to see so many out for the start of SS.

Aase talked about the church in Oslo, where she used to go to church with her family and shared with us the needs of this church as it will be renovated soon.

Thank you so much.

Off the children go to explore the things of nature.

Don had the children's story and Brooklyn helped by reading the older women's part.  It was a great story.

Have a Look

Liza had SS and she made it interesting by passing out small cups of green smoothie.

She shared with us how to make it and why it was so good for a person.

A tray of green smoothies to share.

Green smoothie goodness.

Using all kinds of ideas to make SS interesting for them   Thanks, Cherri.

Scripture by Aase.
Thank you for the message today.  Three lessons for us.
1.  Jesus is Always Present
2. Jesus is praying for you (for me).
3.  Jesus will speak words of promise.

He will be with you in the storms!

Our Minute Man Pastor

This Sabbath our Pastor kept himself very busy by volunteering for several things and it was interesting to see.

Sabbath School was presented by Lori and after a short video she asked people to read texts.

The Sabbath School classes were well attended.

It was so nice to see four young girls in the Older Kid's Corner this week.

Such a bright and pretty day.

Rocky Mountain Adventure  - Kid's Corner Sabbath School.
Story Telling for the Older Kid's Corner
Special Bible - pretty in pink and flowers!!
Singing along in Praise Time

We all had fun with the children's song this week.. I've Got Peace Like a River
The person was not there for children's story so the Pastor shared one using his guitar and letting the children each play a chord.

Special Music ( somehow the person did not show up) - the Pastor and DD played a song together for it.  We sure did enjoy it.

He said his sermon was 14 minutes long so there was time to hear him play and sing a very lovely song at the end of the sermon.
Ordinance of Humility or Foot Washing

Grape Juice

Nice for Walter to have his grandson in church - visiting from several hours away.
After fellowship dinner the Pastor is still serving.  Doing his part in the kitchen.

And ends the time at church with a smile while he dries the dishes.

Pretty little bird in the mountain ash tree with berries.  Can you see the bird?

Young deer looking for lunch down by the saw mill this week.

Sabbath, January 7th 2017 ~ at OCC

It was good to be at OCC for the first Sabbath in the new year ~ 2017.

If you were not able to attend here are some photos for you to see what happened this past Sabbath.

Thank you, Kevin, for sharing the story of your struggles with your current health issue.   We appreciate your strong faith in Jesus through of this.  It is good for us all to think about our relationship with Jesus and take time for Him daily.
