October 8th 2016

Welcome little baby Raina.

So glad to have a new baby in our church family.  Congratulations - Heidi, Keith and Tess.  Also congrats to Grampa and Grama  Bob and Nancy.

She was able to be at Sabbath School and her big sister seemed so happy to have her there with her too.

Such a precious new little baby girl.  Welcome to Orchard City Church.

Autumn is here. Colours are abundant.

Thank you to who ever puts together the decor each season.  We enjoy it so much.

Off they go for a boat ride... it is so nice to see this little boat still making Sabbath School interesting after all these years.  Thanks Keith and Peggy.

More colour for us to enjoy.

Jeff and Julie share with us a very lovely medley on guitar and flute and then also with their voices.   After that Jeff gave his very first sermon and shared with us what was on his heart.
Each vegetable and fruit represents something to be joyful for.  So many blessings the basket has no more room left.  Thank you to all who participated.

Julie helps Don lead the closing hymn.  So nice to have Julie back at OCC and so glad she is always so willing to share her talents when she is here.

Thanksgiving fellowship meal -  so many more good things to see and enjoy.

Scripture alphabet video

What a great thing to teach your small child. I think all of us could learn a verse for each letter of the alphabet too, don't you?

Listen to this little boy repeat the verses he has learned all summer.

Sabbath, September 17th, 2016

Today when we came into OCC the greeters were ready to say hello and hand us a bulletin.

It was so nice to see the bulletin and the table decoration co ordinating with purple and green grapes.

So beautiful to see when entering the church this morning.

As pretty as a bowl of flowers.
It was raining outside but Doug was ready for the children to arrive for the outdoor Sabbath School and the Kid's Corner was busy with songs and stories and a craft time.

Costumes are ready for Family Fun Day tomorrow - thank you, Linda for your hard work.

Can you guess which Bible character will wear these?

A rainy Sabbath.

Collecting the offering.

Pastor Terry McComb came from Cherryville to share with us today.   His talk was filled with amazing facts and showed us our lovely Father's deep care for us.

Creation magazine

He was excited to tell us these interesting stories and share Bible verses.

Our pond in the rain.

Our sign really does look good and let's people passing by know what is happening.

Beauty for Sabbath and part of a craft for Sunday.
