December Sabbath the 14th.

Alex went right into the lesson after the prayer time was finished.

It is so nice to come to OCC on Sabbath morning and share prayer time together.

Alex is an artist so he likes to illistrate when he has the lesson.
It helps us keep some concepts in mind.
Thank you Alex.
Mission story followed on Mission Spotlight.  It was very interesting about Anna Knight.
Watch it online if you missed it.

Nice to see and hear Karen and Denise sing together and lead the Praise Time.

After Olga share a story for the children Beverly got the baskets for them to gather the offering for Childrens Ministries. They are good at this task.

Then was the regular giving time andvduring this time people could share a special offering on the tree for Mama s for Mama s or another place.

An intetesting play was next by Lori and Joy.

It was a play a person could easily understand about Finding Jesus.

Thank you Joy and Lori.

Special music was Silent Night by Jacob and Erinn.

So peacefully and beautifully done.

Scripture reading from Luke read by Karen.

After the sermon by our Pastor people could stay to enjoy the meal together.

Outside it is starting to get the winter look.

After the meal some went out to share books from home to home.

Let the Sabbath comfort and joy stay with you all week.

Good Things from This Week

Jerrie Lou wrote to share this news from her week.

"I was blessed with the birth of my fourth great grandchild.

Hazen Schneider was born November 24th, a perfect baby boy.

I had a wonderful visit with Bryn and Joshua in Ohio in parts of October/November.  One highlight was seeing The Ark Experience with them.  Don and I  went with friends the summer of 2016 but it has changed a lot since then.  It is in Kentucky.

After that I flew to Sudbury, Ontario and my sister picked me up  then we drove two hours to her home and we enjoyed a few wonderful days together on Manitoulin Island

This Swing Bridge is on the island and my sister drives over it to work and back again in the evening.

At the top of the hour it swings open to let boats through for 15 minutes.

Who knows which of the great lakes this is?

This from Shirley...

Jody and I had a safe trip to Portland,

And I went to a great hockey game there with my two grandsons!

So thankful, like old times.

(if you find a photo please send it in... )

Loretta sent this.

My little great grandson is learning to skate sooo sweet, regardless of the ups and downs.  I'm happy he has a good protective helmet.

(Glad you have a cute video of this all... fun for you all.)

One more very nice thing that happened was Jodi and Stefan and children stopped in for awhile last week.
So nice to see them all.

Here on their Thanksgiving break at Walla Walla.

Any one else having a fun event or something to share please send it in.
We can smile or cry along with you.
Thanks everyone who wrote in.
