We came to a church that had open doors and a warm feeling of welcome.
Thank you deacons for always being there on time with your keys to have church ready.
After a short reading on Jesus the Shepherd from this little book we had a lovely prayer time.
Thank you for all who came and joined in.
Alex was ready with his white board to lead the lesson.
After Mission Spotlight it was nice to see so many young people coming into the church
It was grade 4, 5 and 6 students coming to sing.
They brought their teachers and help and parents along.
Announcements and opening song were looked after and then four students had Praise Time.
Cute

Newly baptized at OCC he came here again and shared the scripture and prayer before the sermon.
Our Pastor spoke about mother's but mostly about Hazel...Samson's mum.

Staff from OCClead the closing sing...Family.
Shannon was much to busy to take photos of the 35 children who were in Children's church after special music.
They were kept busy..
They participated in activities about families, talked about characteristics of mothers in the Bible, discussed how God gave us all different kinds of families, and then made a project to celebrate the mother figures in their lives.
From Shannon...
Here’s a picture of one of the “potato babies” who featured in one of our activities. 😊😂
We were quick! And, it was a fast-action game…not thorough. :)
Thank you Shannon and Cherri for this time with the students.
There were many who stayed for the meal after church ...Jerrie Lou and her team with Lori and Loretta and Liza for some...made lots of people happy with the foods set out.
Then clean up done.
Such a lovely, full Sabbath.
This grade 6 student accompanied the choir and played so well.
His composure and way he watched the leader and singers was amazing.
Sure did appreciate all the dedication and work put into a program like this.
For the glory of God.
