We spent a lovely Sabbath morning in Kohala SDA Church July 5th.
The lovely trees.Lesson Study with great people.
He was not there in time to lead the lesson study so his daughter lead daughter very first time. She did great.
When her dad got there she made him have prayer to close.
Their family of 3 girls and 7 boys are very helpful and willing and had a very nice Praise Time.
They welcomed each family and each person by giving them a shell lei.
One person in each group shared the names and where they were from.

You could see the love and respect they all had for each other.
This weeks sermon was very fascinating...a man who travels extensively put together a pretty lengthy video with words to read and a friend of his singing meaningful songs along with the video. It was a nice change from typical sermons. Some underwater life most would never get to see unless seeing a video.
It was amazing for us to experience.
This is the man...Bud Kinsley who took the footage and compiled that great movie.

Us in front of the church
Always an after service potluck ...here father and son had everyone sing Happy Birthday to Lauren and another man visiting who used to live there when his dad was principal. Then the son offered the Blessing.
Dale Trefz is like a host at this church being there from Alberta for over 20 years.
She had the children s SS in which about 7 kids this Sabbath.
She played organ and then got the potluck hostessed well and was at a Penticost meeting as we left.
Yum ...rice, soup, patties, salad, pizza, noodles and veggies, pickles, lasagna, veggie platter, oranges and grapes and apples, string cheese and a carton of juice here and there on the tables. Plenty for everyone.
