Ali & Jonathan in South Korea

Ali and Jonathan were working on paperwork to serve in South Korea during this past summer while also planning their wedding. After their honeymoon they lived in Maine until the beginning of November when all their documents and paperwork finally went through and they received their Korean visas. They arrived in South Korea on Monday, November 7 and have been living and working in Cheonan, a "small" city about an hour south of Seoul. Ali and Jonathan both teach English to adults and children, and also one religion class each. At the end of this current two-month term they will be moving to Seoul where Ali will be working at the adult textbook office, helping to write and edit the textbooks used to teach the adult English classes. and Jonathan will continue teaching English and religion classes at the main institute in Seoul. Please pray for them as they work to reach the people of South Korea through teaching English and religion!

  4. Haha, no, Gram and Julie, we certainly didn't eat all that food! At this restaurant they just brought out lots of dishes and everyone took food from the dishes to eat. Our whole table was filled with food and my religion students told us which things had meat and which were vegetarian, so that was really nice. It was a good meal, although we were quite full by the end (and my mouth was slightly burning...they love hot food here).
