We enjoyed Sabbath School and Church Service at Orchard City SDA Church this weekend.
Some of our members were out camping at the Women's Retreat, and others were at PAA grad, but the ones who were here had a nice worship time together.

Cereal boxes for the SS feature |
Glenda Q. had Sabbath School and one of the features was a look at what type of Christian are you according to the cereal box.
Kay Rizzo, in her book, "Gospel in the Grocery Store," wrote about Cereal Christians.
Some might be flakes, sugar filled and then fizzle, dry and scratchy or round and cheery, but it is not our place to judge others.
The last two paragraphs in this chapter read like this, "Unfortunately, some will lose their taste for heaven by critically evaluating the other cereals on the shelves. They are in danger of sacrificing eternity by claiming, "once a flake, always a flake." The Master's formula works on all shapes and sizes of Christians "Come onto Me", He says. So simple and yet so profound.
"I am the Way, the Truth and the Life."

Jerrie Lou taught the lesson and we all really enjoyed it. It turned out to be a one class SS this week
and we had a nice time sharing our thoughts and ideas about Habakkuk. |

Lesson Study |
|
Mrs. Tetz had a good story - it was about a time she swung on the cabinets door and broke her mother's fine golden crystal goblets. She had all of our interest in the story. Then she shared what her mother did with a handkerchief. |
