This Sabbath at OCC - June 25th 2016

It was a great Sabbath at OCC.

Sabbath School started with song service with Don leading the singing and Diane and Aase playing piano and organ.  What a lovely way to enter the sanctuary by hearing the nice music.

Bob Rogers agreed to come and tell us about the China Mission Trip that the Rutland Youth group went on during Spring Break.  Adults went along and they enjoyed their time sharing with the students at two schools.
Each person gave their personal testimony and made friends with the students.

Bob tell us stories about the China Mission Trip.  Thank you so much, Bob.

A little thank you for coming to OCC.

Does anyone know what the lesson was for the Children's Sabbath School?  Nancy had  a very nice story for them.

Craft for the children to make after the lesson.

Awwwww.

One of the creatures at SS.

Helping hands working on the craft.
Julie took my camera and took a photo of me - I guess it is my turn to be in this blog too, eh.

Alexander graduated from grade 12 a couple of weeks ago.  Here is just a little gift for him from us.

The tassel is worth the hassle.
Beverly lead the upstairs class and Dave and Lori had the lessons in the other two classes.

So thankful for willing, helpful people.

Thanks for being the greeter, Alexander.  It is so nice to have you at OCC.

Sure do appreciate everyone sharing their comments during the Bible study time.
Oh, and happy birthday to you, Doug.

After Praise Time  Jason had a very interesting story that we watched together for the Children's story time.

A little girl sharing her dramatic story telling skills about Jonah.

Then the children collected the children's offering and came back to their seats for the sermon.

Energetic helper.

It is so great to have the children involved at church time.

Randy had scripture and prayer.

Beverly Hanes shared the sermon and it was excellent.  Thank you, Bev.

Lunch time is a welcome time and we enjoyed picnic food eating it in the fellowship room or down by the pond.

Eating and playing by the pond.  What a great addition the gazebo is.

A time to sit and eat and visit is important too.

Glad we have this unique area by the pond at our church.

It is really park like.

Thank you to the person or people who brings the flower arrangement each week.  I look forward to seeing what it will be each time I enter the church.

Come and worship with us next Sabbath.  We would love to have you at OCC
