Sabbath at OCC

 Sabbath at OCC starts out with 4 or 5 but very soon that turns to 8 or 12. Then by the time church Praise begins there are more. 

Each part of church is very important and you don't want to miss any of it.  It is so good to have you there and join in.

Prayer Time at 9:30 was an uplifting time as there is strength in hearing another person's prayer.

We pray for each other or our families. We pray for our young people in our church or our schools. We ask God to fill our church and that we might be ready to receive everyone. So many things to pray for. Come join us.

Lesson study time is such a great time to share your thoughts and ideas from our study the week before.

These lessons on Joshua are story style and really show us many lessons.

We discussed Lesson 3 on Sabbath 

Praise Time with Children s Song followed by Children s Story.

Fun to do the actions.

Campmeeting in Australia 

100 tents housing more the 500 people.

Many came to the meetings along with local town people. 

Devious fun by some. Attack the tents...laricans they were called.

Ellen White they felt was the most important people so they  were going to pull her tent down on her the next night.

Others heard about the trouble brewing.

A big strong policeman came to protect Ellen.

The boys never showed up.

The policeman got tired.  He then saw an angel form in the light. 

He walked away as Mrs white no longer needed his protection.

God was her protector.

The Irish policeman came back the next day to listen to this lady speak.

He came each night after.

He accepted Jesus as his Saviour.

Seeing the angel,  caused the policeman to be so interested he came back.

Health Share at Camp Hope Ground. It was wonderful.

The Pathfinders had a c weekend of rain.

Pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire at night...they experienced God's miracle.  

11 days was all it took to be able to get to the promised land but it took them 40 years.

They watched anxiously which way the pillar lead them. 

Doubt gripped their hearts.

Complaints against Moses began.

Packing trip 3 years ago bev s first...was not easy.

Straight up right away.

Mosquitos and rocks.

My kind husband understood and helped....mostly.

Complaints from the Israelites.

Open munitiny. 

They wanted to go back to Eygpt back to slavery.

Garlic and leeks in  Eygpt.

The story or Korah.

Aaron's rod budded and bloomed and brought almonds.

Moses rod turned into a serpent.

Having faith in God moses picked up the snake by tail and it became a rod again.

How are you using your rod.

Shepherds used rods as protection.

Authority ... are you using your rod for...

For God s glory or your own? 

Doubts jealousy s rebellion.

Light of the world.

Is your light clean and sparkling shining bright.

Move us from inactivity to zealous movement for God.

Put to use our talents.

Brighten the day of others with your talents.

Each one of is able to bud and blossom bring forth fruit with God.

Give of yourself to Him today.
