Thank you, Lord!

Esther Wecker had surgery on January 21st, 2013 at Kelowna General Hospital.

Thank you for your prayers, emails, and fb messages.

The warmth of a hand to hold is healing

Mum called me this morning, January 22nd, to tell me the Dr. had just been in and she is able to come home today when her blood work is all in and shown to be fine.

We are thrilled this is done and that she may be pain free from now on.

  2. Glenda....just reading this now. I had no idea she was even going in for surgery. So glad everthing went well and that she is on the road to recovery and going home. They say there's no place like home and I think that is true when your under the weather or sick and recovering. Look forward to seeing her in church. Give her our love. Talk soon.

  3. Glenda - I was surprized by the news this a.m. - like Sylvia, I had no idea and am so sorry! (I am not a FB user). However, God is good and I am so glad this is behind her. Please share with her a big hug from me and well wishes for a full recovery. She is a wonderful lady and is definitely in my prayers.
By the way - photo is great and says such a lot!!! Love, Beverly

  4. Esther was only called in on Wednesday, January 16th to tell her when her surgery would be. She has waited since March of 2010 for it when she was in the hospital with pancreatitis and was told of this problem. Then they had to rule out everything else first. When they finally did the surgery was to be in October or November of 2012.
She is thankful for your prayers and caring ways and a God who heals.
