Video Wednesday: Cambodian orphans helping Albertans

This is such a sweet video about how a group of orphans living at the Place of Rescue Orphanage in Cambodia heard about the flooding in Alberta and gave money to help people who have lost their homes and everything that had been inside. "Over the years, these children have received the help of Albertans. Money, food, clothing, and families...The ties [between these children and Albertans] are strong...so when news of the Alberta floods reached Cambodia, the children decided to help, donating what little money they had for flood relief." The orphanage director thought the children would raise about $200, but in the end they raised more than $900! These orphans don't have much to call their own, and most of them don't even have parents anymore, but they saw a need and gave what they could to help others in a difficult situation.

Isn't that a beautiful picture of what Jesus did for us? He gave us everything He had to give us a better life. Shouldn't we give back to Him whenever we have the opportunity?
