OCC on Sabbath

Before lesson study was Prayer Time.

This is a very special time to spend 20 minutes praying together.  It is very good to hear the prayers of others. It is refreshing and encouraging.

Please join us every Sabbath at 9:30. 

So thankful for each one that comes in time to join in the lesson discussion. 

It is good and uplifting to share our thoughts and what we learned.

This lesson was about The Great Controversy...we imagined a hockey game in which both teams were dressed exactly alike. How would you know which was your team? 

The wheat and the tares are not planted together but they are allowed to grow together until Jesus harvests the wheat.  

So many lessons to think of in that parable and the following one.

Mission Spotlight was good to see...it helps us stop thinking about ourselves for a time and instead think of the needs of others.  That is very important.

Thank you to those that quietly come into the church during the week and change things up to reflect the current season.

Praise Time was delightful with Karen leading and Bonnie accompanying on the piano.

A clever way to remember two kinds of camels..one starts with B and one with D write the letters then turn paper and the one has one humps and the other has two.

Kim is so easy to listen to. Her song choices are so well choosen and her delivery so clear.

She presented it so well.it was inspiring.

Angela gave a short time for a couple of testimonies and it was so good to hear from those people also.

At the end there was a meaningful song on video and then a closing prayer.
