Kathleen Bayliss was a church member of Orchard City Church for many many years.
She moved to Nova Scotia a few years ago to live closer to her daughter, Eileen.
Kathleen was a very interesting person. Her two daughters each wrote a life sketch from the memories they have of their precious mother. These two daughters have such a different prospective it was interesting to hear each of their stories about their mum. One thing was noted several times - Kathleen loved to swim and especially in the ocean no matter if it was cold. She was also a very well-travelled lady. The list of places she has travelled to was long and interesting.
Loretta S., a close friend and member of OC Church, planned a memorial service for February 16th at Orchard City SDA Church in honour of Kathleen.
Pastor Jim Weir talked at the service and also sang and played his guitar.
A tape recording of Hetty (one of the daughters) singing at Hope Camp meeting was played near the end of the service just before the prayer.

Sylvia and Loretta made this lovely bulletin. Kathleen loved flowers and used to grow so many
around her large yard when she lived with her husband Hubert on Lewis Road. |
