Special Guest for our Orchard City Sabbath School ~ February 9th, 2013

Aase D. was our guest superintendent this week and she had a vision. She wanted us to hear from a guest about the street people in our city. She called until she found Suzanne, and Suzanne offered to come and talk to us.

We were very interested in her information and many people had questions for her afterwards. We went overtime a little, but I really think everyone enjoyed it, and were glad to have Suzanne talk to us.

Thank you, Suzanne and Aase.

It was so nice to have someone from Interior Health take time to come and share information with us about how to best help people on the streets of Kelowna.

Beverly and Suzanne were happy to bump into each other here and have a little chat.
Some hand-outs people are interested in
We did have some time for our Sabbath School lesson study. After listening for a bit, I went over to see what was happening in the Kids Korner.
Madrea seemed to enjoy everything, and especially this hummingbird that sang so sweetly
These lovely little birds and ducks make a most realistic song. This loon call was nice to hear.
Seth was smiling so big but then there was something interesting to see up front at the same time.  Our littlest one is growing up fast.
She enjoyed everything from Sabbath School at Kids Korner today
'Our Little Friend' is still a good paper to get at the end of Sabbath School
Ending with prayer

Children's Story at church time was told by Beverly. At the end she passed out little plastic geckos for each child to keep. At least one was played with in church and kept one little one happily quiet.

Children really enjoy this part of the service... the Children's Offering time.
Adults seem to enjoy the Children's Offering time as much as the children do

Alexander played "Miami" on his guitar this Sabbath and he really sounded great! It is so wonderful to hear young people share their talents with us and with Jesus. Thank you, Alexander.

Our speaker changed today due to illness. Elder Dr. Bob Wageman filled in for Keith so nicely.
He shared stories of God's blessing to those who honour Him
