Sabbath at OCC ~ August 31st

It was so very nice to have Brooklyn share with us about her mission trip to Mexico for our SS feature this Sabbath.

Brooklyn had a video to show that had the different students talking on it and telling a little about their thoughts of the mission trip and it was nice to hear.
It was very interesting also to see the children at VBS or playing with the students.
And doing the dentistry help too.

Thank you, Brooklyn, for letting us help you by praying for your trip and for telling us about it now that you are safely back home.

Thanks to Doug F for getting the projector to work for the video.  Thanks to Brooklyn for telling us all about her mission trip.
Lesson study time was held in two adult classes and the children's ones too.
It is so wonderful to have dedicated people who come and give their time to have something for the children to learn more of Jesus each weekend.

It is so wonderful to hear from a youth in our church and see and hear the excitement  of the joy it brings to help others.

Taking a little break between SS and Church
Joyful greeting in the parking lot.  So great to see friends return to worship with us.

Adding to the worship with his music.

Elder of the day... Roland.

Jerrie Lou - adding her part to the service.

Shannon told and Ryder experienced this children's story about crayons.  She had a bunch of nice new crayons and had Ryder break some...even when we are broken we can still colour and are still worthwhile.  Thank you, Shannon.

Bright eyed little one enjoys OCC too, on mummy's lap and with Grampa close by.

Karen brings us the Bible passage for the sermon and the morning prayer

Richard plays a beautiful medley of three hymns on his harmonica.

Ken Fox leads into our service with  greetings and prayer.  Thank you for your heartfelt talk about God's grace for us.

Our sign is so pretty and someone keeps it up so nicely too. Thank you to that someone.

On the drive home from OCC.
