Sabbath at OCC Jan 24th

This day started out with Breakfast at church.

Lots of choices for food were on the table from fruit to yogurts...dairy and plant based to vegan potato dish or tofu wraps and lots of breakfast links and stripples.

We had a good number to have prayer time and lesson discussion with the Pastor doing a great job.

Reminding everyone to come to the Warm and Cosy social evening.

Joy Like a Fountain in my Soul...childrens song we all enjoy.

Jerrie Lou shared little stories about the quilts that live with her...showing us old old ones of her great grandmother s to some she made. So beautiful to see.

After the closing song and prayer there was a thoughtful but spontaneous prayer for Tony and Lorinda as they go to Mexico for treatment for Tony.
Please keep  them both in your prayers as this process seems rigorous.
Thank you so much.

Please pray for Tony and Lorinda.

Another request for prayer came from Lorinda the Sunday evening...to keep her brother Rick in our prayers as his 58 year old wife died.  He is very devastated. She asked for prayers of comfort for Rick. She just died on Sunday. Lorinda and Gerry will need prayers of comfort too.

One young lady has some nice videos I hope she will share soon.

These two young men are such good friends.  It is great to see them interact.

Not sure that is has been cold long enough for the ice to be thick enough to support skaters.

Time to head home for a few hours before coming back for a Warm and Cosy evening of worship then games then soup and other additions.
