Potluck - December 3/11
After church service comes the potluck time.
Everyone seems to enjoy the fellowship and food.

Sabbath ~ December 3rd at Orchard City Seventh-day Adventist Church, Kelowna, BC
It was a full and very good Sabbath. Pastor Wesley Torres had our church service and after the potluck meal he had another meeting. We learned many good things about how a Sabbath School works best and what the real purpose of Sabbath School is. Thank you, Pastor Torres for coming and spending time with us.

Ali & Jonathan in South Korea
Ali and Jonathan were working on paperwork to serve in South Korea during this past summer while also planning their wedding. After their honeymoon they lived in Maine until the beginning of November when all their documents and paperwork finally went through and they received their Korean visas. They arrived in South Korea on Monday, November 7 and have been living and working in Cheonan, a "small" city about an hour south of Seoul. Ali and Jonathan both teach English to adults and children, and also one religion class each. At the end of this current two-month term they will be moving to Seoul where Ali will be working at the adult textbook office, helping to write and edit the textbooks used to teach the adult English classes. and Jonathan will continue teaching English and religion classes at the main institute in Seoul. Please pray for them as they work to reach the people of South Korea through teaching English and religion!

Children's Sabbath - Nov. 12th, 2011
Pastor Tetz had a children's church with the sermon and illustrations geared for the children to be involved. He asked Alex to make the golden image to use in the sermon.
