January 27th at OCC

Bright and early the Sabbath School lesson started.  GQ lead it while about 10 people joined in the lively discussion. More people came as the lesson went along and it was a very nice learning time together.

Mission Spotlight came next.

Then Beverly took some pictures for me as Alison and I had to leave to get my sister from the airport as my dad was very ill.

Thank you for the prayers for Walter. He is still quite weak and sick but is starting to feel better slowly.  It meant alot to have Arnie come to visit him and Shirley and Jody came to see him too and brought juice and gingerale as he is dehydrated and not eating much. So thank you very very much.

Having Alison here till Tuesday and Sandra here for the week has been very helpful and good for Walter.  One aide told Sandra this week that she prayers for my dad every night.

A PT assistant who came to put a different mattress in Walter's room asked which church I go to. When I told her she said she has come there once before but usually goes to Kelowna church.

The nurses and aides each take time to encourage  and try to do something to help him feel better.

Sabbath recap.from a distance... praise team + Kim E.  Kids song peace, joy, love... Lea childrens story.. personal adventure on a river with a strong wind and how Jesus uses people to hlp us when we ask Him for help. Pastor J. On Revival, the book of recommended reading for this month.

Thank you very much Beverly for taking these pictures and sending them in. 💜

Something special...Pink fog.  Just for a few minutes the other day some saw pink, purple or blue fog.  For me it was bright through my bedroom window shades and made me go outside for a better look.  I saw pink off my deck.
