Feb 8th Sabbath

A snowy morning but warmth was inside OCC.

Thank you Craig for cleaning  the snow away.

Prayer time began with a prayer quote and Bible verse.

Then Alex presented the 6th lesson of this new quarter, "God's Love of Justice".

Alex illustrates the lesson as he talks and we read Bible verses and discuss.

Alex showing the cross on our study booklets and then the cross he drew to illustrate on the white board.

A new Women s devotional book.
A chilly looking pond.
Look at the bulletin board.

Add a prayer request to this pretty box.
Everyone enjoys children at church.
This family leading out in Praise Time has us singing and smiling.
Our current Call to Worship hymn.

Aase had an excellent little talk about Heart  💓 Health.  Her first point was to floss  your teeth.
Bonnie was excited to give the book out.
In reading a portion of the book I found it encouraging...to get a little gentle exercise by gardening flowers in the fresh air and sunshine.
Handing out new Ministry of Healing books to all.

Childrens song

Children s Story told by Sherika.

Offering time.

Sharing what God has given us.
A beautiful song sung by these two girls.

Scripture and Prayer

Start of service by our Pastor.

Children s Time
They shared their creations from Sabbath School.

Pastor takes time to talk to most everyone after eating.
Still being enjoyed by children everywhere...

And artist among us.  He was very kind to show us his sketch book and let me share this sketch with you.  Amazing.  Thank you so much.

So good to have food and fellowship.
It was very interesting to do something  different when we were almost finished our meals.
Look under or feel under the tables and find Bible verses.
One card was special indicating the clean up crew!!
This was great.
At a church I visited recently after the meal some played games at the tables...not rush to leave but enjoy the company of each other.

Visiting while enjoying tasty food is good for us.

Doggy on the pond enjoying the ice time and chasing a ball.

Sabbath is a happy day.

Everyone adds their part to make it special.
