On the way to Orchard City Church from one direction |
The snowy trees along the way |
Our parking lot... where is the plow? |
Come join us for a happy time in Kids Korner.
It is a busy, happy place, with songs and stories and lots of people.
Upstairs the adults have an excellent story shared by a couple in their 90's. We call it the Angel Story.
They shared a couple of songs during the song service upstairs |
A big mike for a little girl |
Doing his part well |
Singing " Our God is So Big, So Strong and So Mighty" |
Don telling the story about the dogs who ripped up a box full of books |
Such beautiful music from these two |
Then we are ready for some to stay for a pot luck meal and some to start shovelling again and helping get cars out of the parking lot.
On the tables for the meal - at least it is spring inside |
What a helpful person |
What a cool post...very inspiring. Love the fox too! Is that Arnie shoveling snow? It kind of looks like him!
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to know people like you are having a look at this blog. It inspires me to keep it going and catch up.
DeleteThe whole day was very nice and the fox sighting was special.
No, it is not Arnie out there this time.
Some very good pictures... Thanks Glenda for sharing your time and talents... Always enjoy looking. The back drop in the children's division looks amazing!
DeleteThanks Heidi, Nancy and Naomi!

Again love the pictures of the kids. Such lively things happening in their classroom. Looks like a nice song service, too, and children's story and special music! Nice to have such a happy and helpful gang to get the cars headed home OK in all that snow. The "fox" looks mighty similar to the coyote you took a picture of a different week after church. You sure they're not the same?? In any case, a great sighting and wonderful shots of him/her.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures - I think that Coyote must have been leaving my place!! I have certainly seen a lot of footprints in the snow.
ReplyDeleteLove the backdrop and animated activities generating in and from the "Kids Corner" -good work leaders, Thank you.
