We went and did the Hedley Mines tour two weeks ago and totally enjoyed it. It was an hour long bus drive to the top and then 586 steps down to the mine. We had to take our time, but it was definitely a beautiful tour. Four hours in all. It was run by the First Nations in Hedley. So many interesting stories. Here are a few photos of our time there. ~Sylvia

Thanks for sharing your write-up and pictures! It's nice to see what interesting things there are to do around the area. I'd like to take the tour myself sometime!
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice to see some of your photos from your park trips on here sometime too, Ali.
DeleteThanks for all the good comments.
Thanks , Sylvia, for your write up and pictures. Seems like a lovely tour except for the 586 steps-- a bit much for me, I'm afraid. The Pictures are great.
ReplyDeleteWhat great exercise, eh.
