At OCC August 31st

Lesson time is very interesting and special as those who come for this time help with the discussion and it is everyone's time to be able to share with the group what they have learned during the week.

Here is a list of some of the lessons you can listen too during the week to get more coverage of the lesson: https://www.sabbath.school/Lesson.

OCC's church family is so supportive by coming out and joining in.

Before we know it, leson time is over and it is time for Praise.

Important New Note:

Please remember that after the lesson discussion comes the Mission Spotlight video for the mission emphasis.  If you need to speak to someone during this time please do so in the foyer so as to not disrupt the sound for people to listen to the video.

The teacher will end with prayer after the Mission Spotlight from now on.

Loretta had the children's SS and they enjoyed it. Another one joined in also.

Thank you, Loretta...

Tuning up...

Praise Time
Reminding us of an upcoming event.

Gifts from SS

Don't forget Family Fun Day on Sunday.

Children's Song... so lovely to see all the ones up there.

Story teller Jerrie Lou.

It was fun to see Jerrie Lou pull that pot and spoon out of the bag and clang on the pot.

No bears in the church but in the story a 10-year-old girl chased a bear out of camp by her prayer and quick thinking.

Offering time...

Special Music was inspired by last weeks Praise Song - To the River
These girls loved it so much they sang it all week and then learned to play it on violin and cello after their mum wrote out the music for them.

They sang after they played it through on the string instruments.

They sang all the verses and chorus.

Jud W. gave us an update on the loss of two key workers last year in Palawan Island, Philippines - nothing has been found to this date except for a pillow of the patient and the nurse's two shoes.
These have become symbolic for walking in their shoes to carry on the work there and many have come forward for this.

One of the two new helicopters that they are delighted to have obtained.

Exciting stories and experiences where shared and it was a great service.
Thank you so much, Jud.

Joel played with Vicki and Todd at the end of the service.  It would be so nice to leave the church quietly if not waiting to hear the finish of the song. Thank you.

Visitors made it a very nice time.
And there were several we were so glad to see.

We gave Jud DQ's flight bag to share with a student on his travels.

Another Sabbath at OCC.

Thank you for coming and participating.
