Family Fun Day 2024

It was a great day for our OCC Family Fun Day.

Lots of people turned up for the set up and by 10 am people had arrived to enjoy the two bouncy houses and kids crafts and face painting and more.

New this year was the Prayer Corner.  Denise and Jody put this area together and really had a beautiful  display with a corn hole game to use before getting a clear bag of special treats.

Books were free if wanted and a prayer request box was ready for people to add too.

It was a busy spot with happy people clustered around talking and enjoying.

Another fun area was the face painting table.

Beverly's daughter Christina shared her talents there and Beverly's friend Carolyn brought her grandchildren and the granddaughter painted many little faces and older ones too.

Thank you to the painters who seemed to stay at their stations about all 4 hours.

Kyle P gave his talent to people having them sit for a quick sketch.

He told me this was his second time doing this type of art. It was very interesting to watch.

He did 16 sketches and gave them to the happy participants.

Thank you so much Kyle.

The whole crowd enjoyed the Pie Walk.

15 people could walk each of 6 times unless they had already won a pie.

After the music stopped if you stood on a number you could keep going. As the game progressed numbers were removed until there was person left standing.

They could have either a πŸ‘ pie or 6 cupcakes made by Kira C at Brooses Sweet Tooth.

Thank you Kira for making the no lard and no dairy goodies.

Our first winner of the day.

She was so polite...do I get one cupcake?
When told the whole box she was most delighted.

She was so very happy and her dad was too.

Watch for part 2.

Thank you to everyone for taking part and enjoying the day together. πŸ’•
