Family Communion at Orchard City

January 19th, 2013, was another full Sabbath morning at OCC.

Edith led her first Sabbath School and her program about "Listening" was excellent.
We need to follow some guidelines to make sure everyone is comfortable and feels like what they say actually gets heard.

She handed out some quizzes and some of the questions were tricky.
Then she reminded us about people in our church family that might not hear as well as others and how we can be respectful of their needs.

Tyler was one of the Sabbath School teachers this week and lead the group in a good discussion of The Creation Completed.
Prayer together ends this class discussion

Up in the sanctuary we all enjoy Praise Time with Bryn as she shared some of the song writers stories with us before we sang their song.

The children always enjoy their special song and this week it was "I'm In-Right, Out-Right, Up-Right, Down-Right, Happy All the Time."

Pastor Tetz had a short talk about "Transitions" before we went downstairs to have Ordinance of Humility in three different groups. One room for men, one for ladies and one for family groups.

  1. These are wonderful pictures of a special occasion at church! I especially love the one of the three kids hugging! :) The one of Mrs. G and Cindy is very sweet, too, as are many others.
