Covey's Last Sabbath at OCC - January 5th, 2013

We will miss Mr. and Mrs. Covey so much at Orchard City SDA Church!!

Marguerite and Quentin Covey spent Sabbath, January 5th with us at Orchard City, much as they have almost every other Sabbath in the last 15 years since they moved to Kelowna from Nova Scotia.
They were given a long-stemmed rose each in Sabbath School, as they were such wonderful SS members. They were there on time and in their pew each week unless they were away or sick.
What a wonderful example they are to us.
Everyone will miss them so much as they go to make their home in Williams Lake, B.C. close to where their daughter and son-in-law live.

When they come back to visit we will receive them warmly and ask God to bless them in their new location.

Two beautiful roses for two beautiful people
Naomi puts a lovely corsage on Marguerite
Beverly puts on a boutonnière for Quentin
Prayer for this lovely couple
Praying God's blessings for them as they  leave Kelowna to live in a different city
She loves it when Grandpa is the story teller for the morning
All listening to Jason so attentively
It is a pleasure to see all these younger ones in church each week
Loretta says good bye to Quentin
There was much hand shaking and hugging after church
Beverly and Quentin
Bryn and Quentin... Covey's always had time for the young people of OCC.
Saying good bye to Tyler
And to Auntie Beth
Son-in-law, Cameron, takes their long-stemmed roses for Marguerite and Quentin
Littlest one...
Oh, how we will miss them at OCC!

  4. From Paul:
A very special couple that I personally will miss. I always liked to greet them early Sabbath mornings in "their" pew. How faithfully they attended church and Sabbath School!
