October 26, 2013 -- Happy Happy Sabbath for all at OCC

Sabbath School had the theme of  PRAYER this week.

One of the special features of this morning was Oliver singing! We enjoyed it so much!
If you did not get to be at OCC, here is a video you can watch and hear him singing on.

Gay and Alex told an adventure story when things did not seem to work out for anything they tried to do on this one trip,
but the ending is great! Thank you for sharing!!
Liza shared just one of her many prayer story and her joy at the answer was wonderful to see.
Thanks for telling us that story. We will want to hear more for sure.
Doug story was about answered prayer, too. Such amazing ways God leads us. Thank you for telling your story, Doug.
It helps us gain faith through hearing others share their stories.
What is there to say about this delightful flower bowl. Thank you thank you, Carol.
Alex leads the discussion in  lesson time in the sanctuary class.
A new and very interesting Children's Program is coming to Kid's Corner very soon. Come and find out more.
This was a very, very interesting quarterly to look at. Roland led the lesson discussion downstairs this week
and his quarterly is well used. Each page is full of his studies.
Startings of the fellowship friendship meal.
Cherri and Shannon were the Praise leaders this week and how nice it was to have them lead.
"This Little Light of Mine-- I'm Going to Let It Shine!!"
Doug tells the children a story about fishing. His use of the fishing rod and lure kept their interest.
One child asked if they could touch it and so they got to.
Each time Alex plays his guitar we get a real treat. Just really enjoy hearing him.
Our Pastor sure does know how to use simple items to make his sermon interesting to all ages.
This little "plant" needs light to be able to move.
A little child shall lead them... this is sweet to see.
So nice to come to church to pray, worship God, and sing praises.
It is also refreshing to met friends and share a little visit.
Baby is fast asleep- just can see her little feet on the pink blanket.
The scenery around and about Orchard City Church is always changing.
Autumn marigolds.
